Michael Terry is Managing Director and Co-Founder of PWM Advisors located in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Mike is an experienced finance professional with a demonstrated history of success in helping clients across the wealth spectrum define and attain their financial goals and objectives. Possessing a broad planning background, Mike has chosen to specialize in investment management and in over two decades of doing so, has evolved into a very client-focused asset manager with deep expertise in asset allocation, equity and fixed income strategies, alternative investments, options trading, and planning. At PWM, Mike works alongside a team of specialists that share his client-centric focus and deep-rooted value in developing strong, long-lasting relationships. Mike and team also work very closely with their clients' external partners, such as their CPAs and Attorneys, to orchestrate a cohesive execution in the attempt to minimize shortfall of success throughout the life of their clients' financial plans.
Prior to creating PWM Advisors, Mike was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at The Private Bank of Bank of America (formerly U.S. Trust) in Princeton, NJ where he managed investment portfolios for the bank's high net worth individuals and families since 2003. Mike also spent four years at a division of Lincoln Financial Group in Philadelphia, PA after graduating Stockton University in the late 1990's. Over his tenure at U.S. Trust Mike went on to complete his CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation training at The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and attained a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University in 2011. Mike is an active CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant and holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

(CFP Board) owns the CFP® certification mark, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification mark, and the CFP® certification mark (with plaque design) logo in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
